While I’ve always sucked at math and pretty much only ever worry about it around tax time, I’ve always made sure to stay clued up on the ancient practice of numerology.
Through numerology, we can learn more about ourselves, our purpose and the world around us.
So let’s start counting, shall we?

What is numerology?

Well, to put it simply: numerology is the study of numbers. It’s a divine practice that believes that each number holds a particular meaning and purpose and by figuring out what the numbers mean, we can uncover valuable information to guide us on our journey.

Where does numerology come from?

Numerology dates back thousands of years to ancient Egypt, Sumer, and India.
Remember studying Pythagorus, the Greek philosopher and early mathematician, way back when in math class? He believed in numerology as well.
Around 2500 BC, Pythagorus taught his followers that each number has a vibration and frequency that holds great meaning. He believed that by observing numbers, we would learn sacred intel and find the meaning of life.

What is your Life Path Number?

One of the most valuable teachings in numerology is that everyone has their own unique Life Path Number and by discovering what yours is, you will learn more about your purpose.
How to calculate your Life Path Number:
Here’s an easy-as step-by-step guide to help you figure out your Life Path Number.
1. Add the month and day of your birth date separately, then add the year together. For example, if your birth date is 11/11/1992, you would go: 11 + 11 = 22.
2. Next, add the numbers that make up your birth year. For example: 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21.
3. Then, add the combined numbers together. So you’d go 22 + 21 = 43.
4. And finally, add the two digits together to create one single number. In this case, 4 + 3 = 7, so my Life Path Number is 7.
