Self-service is not suitable for dealing with mental health crises. Responses may take up to five business days.
This textline is not a substitute for 24/7 hotlines offering instant support.
Read our duty of care while you wait for a reply from our counselor.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Text your region’s number with your question or concern. Self-care whilst you wait for a response. Act. Reflect. Text us again whenever.
HOW LONG DO REPLIES TAKE?
Replies currently take between 3-5 business days.
WHAT IF I NEED IMMEDIATE, URGENT HELP?
This help guide contains a list of hotlines and instant responders region by region. If you are having suicidal ideations or feel as if you or someone else is in danger, please contact your local emergency services. You matter.
DOES IT COST MONEY TO SEND AN SMS TO VOID?
Your standard SMS charges through your phone provider apply.
WILL MY TEXT BE CONFIDENTIAL?
Your texts are confidential to you and the professional support team. All marketing material seen is generated by the team and any likeness to submissions is coincidental.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO THE SUPPORT TEAM HOLD?
Currently the support team is headed up by Poppy Stone, queer youth worker and womb-based bodyworker. All of our support team additions have qualifications in youth work or similar.
I HAVEN’T RECEIVED A REPLY…
As we are using the standard SMS network to facilitate a digital experience, sometimes things never make it back to you. If you are concerned this has happened, please reach out via Instagram or email@example.com
WHERE CAN I GET FURTHER SELF-DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES?
VOID’s Service Desk has been built as a resource for continuing your self-expansion and mastery. We have curated some of our most used and trusted practitioners across different restoration/healing modalities, as there is no one-size fits all approach to healing. If you are seeking mental support within the medical system, please consider booking in with your local GP or ringing a tele-health service, and asking for a mental health plan.
WHAT IS A MENTAL HEALTH PLAN?
In Australia, a Mental Health Plan or Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is a document a doctor creates for you that allows you to have discounted sessions with psychologists and other mental health specialists. Once you have had a consultation with a doctor and acquired a mental health plan, you can book in with a psychologist of your choice.
